![]() ![]() If you do, the template fights your override, overriding the override! There have been numerous suggestions in this thread to contact support - I did, and there isn't any. I eventually resolved it by discovering that Artisteer reproduces component styling code at the end of its template under /* Custom Styling */ This is a neat but undocumented feature that allows component style overrides without going to the fuss of a conventional override. However, I did have an issue with the change of pagination function between J1.5 and J1.7, which manifested when using a file management component, RS Files. I have not had any upgrade issues (using latest Artisteer version). There were many users wanting to see theme options as they are in the WorPress templates and now the title and slogan can be changed from Joomla any time you want to with no need to go to Artisteer and reexport the theme. Hi Randy, That is the exact way the new templates work. I just figured out how to add my Headline and Slogan in the new Joomla - just go to template manager and re-enter my lines. The only thing I am struggling with right now is my Header slogan is not showing up and I am not yet sure why. I simply had to open my Main Menu module, for example and then choose my template for available positions, then assign the correct position. I created a 1.7 template and uploaded it and also noticed what seemed like it "wasn't working" - because my modules/menus and such were missing. I'm using dnn template i can't change the direction of the menu form left to right to right to left and if i change the alignment of menu to the right submenu still left to right direction please i want solution for the menu and submenu right to left direction Hi, If you contact Artisteer support it'll be the best way to solve the problem. Anyway, I use 1and1 and have had no problems creating templates and installing them in J1.7. I'm wondering if the problematic issues are because of the hosting company. I'm installing various plugins, components, and modules and still have had no issues. ![]() This is weird because I also have had no issues with Artisteer3 and J1.7. If you want me to look at it, please send mail: info (at) jkwebdesign.fi I would also like to have artx file and exported zip file. If someone want to give me username and password i would really like to look your site (if you have problem with 1.7). i even have updated over 10 of my customers sites to 1.7 (five different server setups) and all have updated correctly. i have no real issues with any of Joomla versions. ![]()
